Your Role: As a Senior Accountant, you’ll provide exceptional service to our clients and guide junior team members. You’ll enjoy a high level of autonomy while managing a wide portfolio of clients who will value you as a trusted advisor.
Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Develop and maintain client relationships, manage a portfolio of clients, and provide value-added services.
- Tax and Financial Services: Prepare income tax returns, financial statements, and handle complex tax matters.
- Advisory Services: Provide business advisory work, financial modeling, and succession planning.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry developments and changes in accounting practices.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Business, or Commerce (majoring in accounting).
- CPA/CA preferred.
- Experience in public practice (preferred but not essential).
- Knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, Intuit).
- Ability to project manage with a goal-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
