About You
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Business Banking Analyst to join the Business Banking Team in our Townsville Head Office.
As the Business Banking Analyst, you will play an integral part in supporting Queensland Country Bank’s Business Banking members, guiding them to successful outcomes by identifying business and individual needs, problem solving and proactively promoting our products and services. You will have previous commercial lending and/or agribusiness lending business experience, be proactive at engaging Members, and able to work with internal and external stakeholders to build strong and genuine partnerships. We want the successful applicant to enjoy working with, and be active, in the local business community and align with our organisational values of being genuine and putting people first.
This position is full time salaried based on a 38 hour working week, however the successful candidate must be prepared to work outside normal business hours to accommodate the needs of the department.
About the Role
- Proven experience in SME/Business Banking/Self-Employed lending
- Sound knowledge of financial statements and credit assessment skills
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, including negotiation and communication
- Demonstrate time management skills
- Tertiary or relevant qualification (desirable)
- Tier 2 accreditation
