Description:
The Engineering Lead will have the following responsibilities:
- Team Management : Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8 engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment while ensuring alignment with company goals and industry standards.
- Project Oversight : Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Resource Allocation : Organise and manage engineering team resources efficiently, ensuring optimal allocation across multiple projects to meet deadlines and project milestones.
- Budgeting and Cost Management : Manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within financial constraints while maintaining quality and performance standards.
- Project Delivery & Execution : Ensure the successful execution of projects from initiation through to completion, focusing on delivering results within scope, schedule, and budget, while mitigating risks along the way.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and the successful execution of engineering projects.
Requirements:
A successful Engineering Lead meets with the following requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Power System Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the Power Engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of Project Management principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong knowledge of industry safety and environmental regulations.
- Proficient in project management and performance metrics.
- Outstanding communication and team management skills.
- Full working rights in Australia.
