Multiskilled Plant Operator / Civil Works

Description:

We are looking for a suitably qualified Multisilled Plant Operator - Civil Works to join the team. You will be responsible for for assisting in the construction of municipal assets within Council's Capital Works Program, this will include the operation of heavy plant (up to 24T GVM), excavators, backhoes, tip trucks, trailers and hands on labouring work tasks in a road construction or maintenance environment.
The Successful Applicant Will Have
Certificate Ill (Trade Level) in Civil or other relevant fields or equivalent and extensive work experience in construction and maintenance of civil assets, built structures and road construction.Experience in advanced concrete and formwork, use of precision measuring instruments, pipe laying to line and grade, with proven ability to read and interpret plans and design drawings.Proven experience and knowledge of Work Health and Safety with ability to use initiative and possess excellent problem-solving techniques and skills, including the ability to determine and apply quality control techniques.Sound literacy, communication and interpersonal skills coupled with efficient time management skills.

Position Hours: Full-Time, 76 hours fortnight.
Salary range: $64,500.94 to $67,889.70 plus superannuation
