As a Sentence Management Administrator at the Adelaide Remand Centre , you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accurate preparation and management of documentation for prisoner movements, including discharges and transfers. Your work will contribute to the smooth operation of the correctional system, supporting compliance and efficiency while fostering a rehabilitative approach.
In this role, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Maintaining accurate records for prisoner discharges and transfers
- Preparing and processing documentation for prisoner movements
- Responding to inquiries related to discharges, ensuring accurate and timely communication
- Supporting administrative functions within the correctional system
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders, including the Department for Correctional Services (DCS)
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
Your ideal skills & experience:
- Experience in administrative service delivery, including report writing
- Strong knowledge of correctional processes, including discharge, bail, and court protocols
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- A culturally sensitive approach, with experience working with diverse communities
- High levels of integrity, resilience, and professionalism
