What You Will Do:
Join our Green Infrastructure team as an Installer & Poly Welder/Warehouse Assistant and embark on a rewarding career at GRAF Australia. In this role you’ll be at the heart of delivering innovative stormwater solutions, ensuring every installation is completed to perfection while keeping operations running smoothly both on-site and in the warehouse. You’ll lead a talented team, stay hands-on with every project, and make a real impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Duties:
- Install GRAF Stormwater Tanks and complete poly welding on-site, ensuring high-quality work.
- Lead and guide other installer team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Plan and organize installation schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time without any scheduling conflicts.
- Keep all tools and machinery in top condition, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation after each installation.
- Liaise with the GRAF Installation Scheduler to maintain a smooth and conflict-free installation calendar.
- Assist with various warehouse duties, including loading/unloading vehicles, operating forklifts, and maintaining warehouse organization.
- Ensure compliance with OH&S policies while maintaining high service standards in every task.
What You Bring:
Essential Criteria:
- At least 3 years of experience with poly/liner welding, demonstrating strong technical skills and a solid understanding of installation processes.
- Thrives both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and collaborating effectively to get the job done.
- A strong commitment to personal safety and the well-being of your team, always ensuring compliance with safety standards and policies.
- Ability to follow instructions, installation manuals, and procedures closely, ensuring accuracy and quality in every project.
- Capable of handling heavy manual lifting and working in physically demanding environments, ready to take on the challenges each job presents.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Essential Licenses/Certifications:
- White Card
- Clean Class C Driver’s License
- Forklift Licence (LF)
Desirable Criteria:
- Plumbing experience
- Plastic welding ticket
- MR License
- Willingness to travel interstate for installations and projects, supporting our national teams wherever needed.
- A proactive mindset with a strong desire to take ownership of tasks and projects, delivering results efficiently and to the highest standard.
