Job ExpectationsA bit about your role
As the Field Area Manager, based in Darwin , you will oversee a diverse team of Customer Field Technicians, Field Engineers, and Build Field Specialists. You will manage all field operations related to the nbn network within a specific geographical area, ensuring the successful connection of customers to the nbn network, enabling nbn to achieve its key outcomes and deliver on its roadmap.
A bit about you
You will have extensive experience in the telecommunications or technical field, with a proven track record in leading operations or engineering teams in service delivery, construction, or service restoration. Your excellent operational management skills, demonstrated in telecommunications, civil engineering, or similar environments, are complemented by strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
You understand market trends that may impact financial outcomes and have a proven ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external teams to achieve goals. Your familiarity with multiple technologies and current telecommunications developments, along with your knowledge of power and telecommunications codes and a strong commitment to health, safety, and the environment, will enable you to excel in this role.
