About the role
QGRC is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the club into this transformative era. The CEO will be responsible for crafting and executing strategic initiatives that align with industry trends, ensuring QGRC’s growth and prominence within the greyhound racing community. Key responsibilities include overseeing racing operations, financial management, stakeholder engagement, and the successful launch of 'The Q' facility. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of greyhound racing in Queensland, elevating the sport's profile and enhancing the experience for participants and fans alike.
About you
The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications, coupled with proven experience in an executive leadership role in Racing, Sports Administration, Clubs & Hospitality or a related discipline. A successful track record in driving organisational change within dynamic environments is essential. Exceptional leadership abilities, with a talent for building and nurturing high-performing teams, are crucial. Expertise in events, marketing, and communications within a professional sporting context will be highly regarded. A deep understanding of the greyhound racing industry is advantageous but not mandatory. Above all, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and excellence, ready to steer QGRC toward a bright and prosperous future.
This role will be based in Brisbane.
