Extensive engagement with state and territory governments and external research bodies has laid the groundwork - now is the time for an experienced data professional like yourself to shape the next phase.
You will play a key role in ensuring that data solutions are designed and developed to accurately capture and deliver critical reporting insights.
This long-term opportunity offers the chance to tackle complex data challenges while building something new.
The program has three core components:
- Implementing a new reporting standard
- Developing a new reporting system
- Updating policy and legislation
You will be working closely with developers, product managers, and policy stakeholders, as you:
- Design and implement automated reporting solutions using SQL and data analytics platforms (DAP)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create models that assess program performance and market conditions
- Produce statistical analyses to inform policy development and evaluate program outcomes
- Translate complex data requirements into practical database designs and reporting frameworks
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems, with a focus on efficient data flows
- Visualize insights using Power BI to support policy, program, and contract management
- You likely have experience working on Greenfields Government reporting projects and are familiar with the policy implications
- From a technical perspective you have proven experience designing and delivering automated reporting solutions using SQL and analytics platforms
- Strong technical expertise in Power BI and understanding of complex database structures
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into effective data models
- Experience working with policy stakeholders to deliver analytical insights that inform decision-making
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Agile delivery methodologies
- Australian citizen with Baseline (desirable)
- In line with EL1 equivalent
- The likely rate for the successful candidate will sit around $120/hr - $135/hr + Super or $130/hr - $150/hr + GST
