- Operate plant and packaging equipment safely and efficiently in a physically demanding, high-paced production environment.
- Assist in the manufacturing of ingredients on the production line, including heavy lifting, manual labour, and batching.
- Pick raw materials according to SKU, batch, and quantities for manufacturing.
- Lift and handle 25kg bags of raw materials regularly as part of batching and production processes.
- Batch raw materials in accordance with strict specifications, requiring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate production logs and reports daily.
- Conduct regular cleaning of equipment following standard operating procedures to ensure hygiene and efficiency.
- Ensure product quality by adhering to company-controlled SOPs.
- Conduct daily forklift check sheets and operate machinery in compliance with safety regulations.
- Participate in line changeovers and minor preventive maintenance activities to maintain smooth production flow.
- Work efficiently under time constraints to meet production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Report any safety or operational issues affecting production processes.
- Must be physically fit and capable of handling physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying 25kg bags repetitively.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, labour-intensive environment is highly advantageous.
- Previous experience in FMCG or manufacturing is a plus.
- A current forklift licence and palletising experience is preferred but not required.
- A forward-thinking attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
- A team player with a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding role where endurance and strength are essential.
