Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for an Airport Assistant Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluu, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Airport Assistant Manager to oversee terminal operations at the Ayers Rock Connellan Airport, which is a small yet vital hub serving our remote community and guests.
You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety, service, and operational excellence that meets the unique needs of our airport. Ideal candidates will bring strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a Current Australian Manual Driver’s License, ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and Ability to obtain an Air/Ground Radiotelephone Operators Certificate.
Key Duties
- Day to day management of terminal operations and leading the cleaning team.
- To ensure that the safety and security of the aerodrome is maintained in accordance with Civil Aviation Regulations (CARs), Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASRs), Ayers Rock Aerodrome Manual (AM), and the Ayers Rock Transport Security Program (TSP).
- To ensure that operational security of the airport is maintained in accordance with ATSA, regulations and TSP.
- To maintain the airport facilities in accordance with accepted standards.
- To ensure WHS principles and requirements are integrated into the daily operational practices and standards of the airport environment.
