As part of the Australia Munition business (AM) at our cutting-edge facilities in Benalla and Mulwala, we produce world-class propellants, explosives, and munitions for both defence and commercial applications. YOUR ROLE:
Reporting to the Head of Quality – Australian Munitions the Quality Assurance Manager role is responsible for providing specialist Quality Assurance services to the business for priority bids and projects and ensuring quality requirements for the bid and projects are managed to mitigate risk to business and customer and proactively avoid Cost of Non Quality (CNQ).
Working at our Benalla site, on Pangerang and Yorta Yorta Land, your exciting new career opportunity will see you:

Assure quality throughout the life cycle of bids, projects and product and correct process tailoring is applied to Bids and Projects.

Defining quality requirements and objectives for Bids and Projects and working to ensure they are embedded.

Proactively work with bid, project, production and support functions to improve product quality through problem solving and improvement initiatives.

Assure risk and lessons learnt for bids and projects are captured and managed.
-
Complete Quality Advices and PPE assessments as required.

Engage with the Customer representatives on quality matters.

Support continuous improvement initiatives including Gemba, SIM meetings, Kaizen and CNQ avoidance.

Assist in preparing the management reports including data collation and analysis.

Conduct Quality Officer role activities when required.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
-
Proven experience working in Quality Assurance or Quality Control role in a senior capacity.

Qualified ISO 9001 internal auditor preferred.
-
Product Industrialisation and/or Bid and Project Management qualifications or experience.

Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001 Quality Management System(s).

Ability in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
