Role Overview
As the National Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the sales strategy, overseeing showroom operations, and enhancing customer experience. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead and develop a national sales team, ensuring revenue growth and exceptional service delivery. Your leadership will drive performance, improve processes, and foster a culture of success.
This is a hands-on role that requires an in-touch leader-someone who is actively engaged with the team and ready to step in when needed. Leading by example, you will inspire your team with your commitment, adaptability, and problem-solving mindset
About You
We are seeking a proven sales leader with a background in retail or home improvement. You have a track record of exceeding sales targets, managing high-performance teams, and implementing effective sales strategies. Your ability to inspire, coach, and develop sales professionals will be key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
* Lead, mentor, and manage showroom sales teams across multiple locations.
* Monitor and enhance customer experience through training, coaching, and feedback.
* Drive continuous improvement by identifying market trends and implementing best practices.
* Oversee recruitment, training, and development of high-performing sales professionals.
* Maintain operational excellence in sales processes, stock management, and compliance.
* Report on key sales metrics and provide insights to senior leadership.
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support new product launches.
* Be prepared to step in and support showrooms directly when needed, ensuring seamless operations.
What You Bring:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a National Sales Management role.
* Proven success in driving sales growth and managing large teams.
* Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to implement change and embrace new initiatives.
* Hands-on approach with a willingness to support the team when required.
* Experience in the home renovation or retail sector is highly regarded.
* A business administration/management degree is advantageous.
