Our client are an Australian owned high end furniture business based in the South East Suburbs and have been operating since 1987.
Their products are beautifully designed and crafted by hand from start to finish. Their team is creative and dedicated to ensure that their design philosophy is applied to everything you see.
Due to their ongoing growth they are currently seeking a Permanent Powder Coaters/Spraypainter to join their team. Hours are 6:30am - 3:00pm Monday to Thursday and Fridays are 6:30am - 12:30noon with plenty of overtime on offer for the successful candidate.

Key accountabilities:
- Prepping various materials for coating including steel, stainless steel and aluminium
- Garnet blasts where required
- Pre rinse parts
- Mask and plug non painted areas
- Apply base and finish coats and bake parts
- Check quality before packing parts for assembly
- Follow procedures as per job sheets
- Work capably with water based and 2 pac finishes
- Be competent in oil finishes
- Read and Interpret working drawings
- Have the ability to lift and move pieces of timber and steel
- Other tasks as required
To be successful:
- Previous experience in Powder Coating or Spray painting
- An eye for detail
- Seeking a long term stable role
