Description:
id="job_description_1_0">ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.
- Full time Handyperson $30.00 per hour
- Monday - Friday 6.30am - 3pm (no weekend work)
- Small diverse team
- Must be an Australian citizen to apply
The Position
- Liaise with facility management contractors
- Minor painting, plumbing & maintenance
- Minor site grounds & garden up keep
- Reporting process of any maintenance in the building
- Perform ADHOC duties required by managers
- Provide flexible & responsive handyperson service to facility & surroundings
- Adhere to all safety & security policies and procedures
- Plan & execute tasks safely & efficiently
- Good communication skills with staff, client and tradesmen
- escorting tradesmen on site
- Basic computer skills
The Person
- Physically fit & reliable
- Experience in general maintenance & gardening
- Comfortable undertaking random drug tests on site
- Current drivers’ license and own transport
- Good knowledge of power tools & gardening equipment
- Team player and be flexible to work in all departments
- Must be able to apply for an AFP NV1 Security clearance
