The role of the Sports Trainer is to work with coaches and student-athletes to ensure that students are ready to play and receive proper treatment in the event of illness or injury. The Sports Trainer will evaluate the physical condition of student-athletes, assist with establishing dietary and fitness plans, and use their knowledge of sports-related injuries to diagnose and treat players. (Multiple casual positions available)
Hours of Work (Casual)
Mornings and evenings throughout the week + must be available to work Saturday's on shifts between 7:30am - 4:00pm during our winter season.
Qualifications:
- Currently studying (or qualifications in) physiotherapy, remedial massage or myotherapy; or experience in these fields
- Working With Children Check ‘E’ card.
- First Aid accreditation including CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma Management.
- A genuine love for sports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm, energy, and a sense of humor are a must!
