The Opportunity:
The Project Planner will be responsible for the development of project programs, the provision of high-level program advice and for the monitoring of progress of various Projects within the Victorian Health Building Authority. The Project Planner ensures completeness, accuracy and clarity of programs, the identification of critical works, and the timely communication of program status and any delays and issues arising, along with mitigation strategies.
- Advise on any program issues arising and recommend improvements and mitigation actions to ensure project programs are robust and able to be delivered within the required time frames
- Where project progress varies from agreed targets, assist in the development and communication of mitigation strategies to return projects to the required delivery targets and requirements
- Undertake detailed review and evaluation of the construction Contractors' tender programs for the various projects and provide evaluation recommendations
We are looking for:
- Knowledge and experience with planning and programming all scope elements, disciplines and phases of building projects
- Ability to develop detailed development and delivery programs for major social infrastructure projects from first principles using measured quantities and industry accepted productivity rates
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and to develop constructive relationships with multiple stakeholders
