The Opportunity
Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisors, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of operation with emptying bins front of house and utilizing the forklift to move industrial bins back of house for daily collection.
Your day to day:
• Shifts are 10.00am-6.00pm daily
• Following bin collection schedules to ensure the correct bin allocations are put out for collection
• Move industrial waste, cardboard cages, compost bins and recycling bins to relevant locations
• Assist emptying all bins from front of house and back of house
• Assist separating containers for containers for change initiative
• Follow all policies and procedures to operating a forklift on site
• Follow correct manual handling procedures
• Assist unloading deliveries by use of the forklift
• If required, assist with general cleaning tasks around the park (cleaning bathrooms, hosing pathways, cleaning stadiums, vacuuming)
What you’ll bring:
• Must be punctual, dependable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
• Must have effective communication and people skills, be assertive, self-motivating and have a desire to work in a customer service-based role. Decision making ability is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Display a professional attitude and appearance.
• Enthusiastic and dedicated team member with a positive attitude to their work who continues to contribute to the team with suggestions of improvements and innovative ideas.
• Must be physically fit with a can-do attitude.
• A current forklift license is essential.
• A current drivers license is essential.
