THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity available for a Communications Consultant based in Sydney NSW. Reporting to the Print Procurement Manager, this role requires the individual to be a senior trusted consultant and subject matter expert, providing the interface for the delivery of our outsourced service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
• Customer Engagement & Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring customer communication and campaign requirements are met with innovative solutions.
• Print & Digital Procurement Solutions – Advise on the most effective and efficient production channels, managing end-to-end print and digital communication projects while optimizing costs and processes.
• Project & Operations Management – Oversee multiple jobs and national campaigns, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines, SLA commitments, and quality standards.
• Supplier & Stakeholder Collaboration – Develop and maintain supplier relationships, negotiating competitive outcomes while aligning with business and customer expectations.
• Process Improvement & Compliance – Adhere to industry best practices, internal policies, and reporting requirements, driving continuous improvement in print procurement and communication solutions.
• Revenue Growth & Business Development – Identify and convert new opportunities within existing and new accounts to drive revenue and margin growth.
• Technical Expertise & Innovation – Provide subject matter expertise in digital and print communication, proactively introducing new solutions to enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
• Extensive experience in a senior account service role working in or with a customer marketing communications environment
• Proven customer relationship experience with key stakeholders in complex corporate and national environments
• Procurement experience within Print industry
• Advanced understanding of end-to-end campaign lifecycle and associated processes including reporting and measurement systems
• Application of end to end marketing campaigns and communications processes and challenges
• SME in service offering areas that relate to specific customer requirements, such as Print Procurement, Mail and Electronic Direct Mail (EDM) Services, Warehouse Services, Creative Services
• High attention to detail, adhering to processes and systems and meeting strict deadlines
