About the Role :
We’re seeking a Category Assistant to join our growing Merchandise Team. In this role, you’ll support our Category Managers with product administration, pricing, and supplier coordination to ensure accurate product information and overall smooth business operations.
You will be responsible for processing purchase orders, maintaining product data, managing pricing updates, and assisting with marketing and promotional activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, organisation, and brilliant communication skills. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to support inventory management and product ranging ensuring each of our e&s customers have the best experience possible.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Keeping things running smoothly – Processing purchase orders, maintaining product details, and ensuring our stock is ready to go.
  • Supporting marketing & pricing – Updating product info, managing pricing files, and making sure our campaigns hit the mark.
  • Liaising with suppliers – Communicating product updates, coordinating meetings, and keeping our teams informed.
  • Data & reporting – Tracking sales trends, managing category reports, and ensuring our records are up to date.
  • General admin support – Assisting with invoices, pricing discrepancies, and keeping our systems organised.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong admin experience (5+ years) – preferably in retail, merchandise, or a related field. This is desirable but not essential.
  • A keen eye for detail – accuracy in data and pricing is key
  • Great communication skills – working with internal teams and suppliers.
  • A proactive, organised, and adaptable mindset – you love keeping things in order.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar systems would be a bonus
  • Solid excel skills
