Refrigeration Mechanic

Description:

We are looking for a skilled Refrigeration Mechanic with experience in installing and servicing VRF air conditioning systems. This role will primarily involve the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VRF systems, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and exceed customer expectations. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with team members to deliver efficient and reliable cooling solutions.
Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and maintain VRF air conditioning systems in commercial and residential settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics to ensure proper installation.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of VRF systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance on VRF systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards during installations and service work.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding system operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely and accurate completion of installations.

Requirements:

• Trade qualification in refrigeration and air conditioning (Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent).
• Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of VRF air conditioning systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration circuits, and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex VRF systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience with leading VRF brands (e.g., Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG).
• Experience in commissioning VRF systems.
• Refrigerant handling certification.
• Familiarity with advanced HVAC controls and building management systems (BMS).
