THE ROLEThere is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Program Manager to join the Aboriginal Housing and Homelessness Branch to manage, design and implement a range of projects which improve housing outcomes for First Peoples. The Program Manager will lead the design and delivery of a new home ownership initiative and contribute to better outcomes First Peoples including individuals, families, groups and communities. The Program Manager will work collaboratively across government and with key Aboriginal community stakeholders to deliver initiatives identified in Mana-na woorn-tyeen maar-takoort: Every Aboriginal Person Has a Home - The Victorian Aboriginal Housing and Homelessness Framework.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
* Lead a team responsible for designing, developing, managing and reporting on project management strategies and deliverables, including implementing or overseeing coordination of project implementation to deliver effective business unit outcomes and meet client service delivery needs.
* Respond productively to deliver solutions and outcomes in an organisational environment complicated by scale, heterogeneity and complexity.
* Manage the review of the business unit's project deliverables to enable service delivery in a cost effective manner to meet current and future requirements.
