We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Advisor - Payroll Advisory , specialising in Superannuation , to join our Payroll Advisory team on a 12 month fixed-term basis. This role is offered in Australia and would be based in either Brisbane, Perth or Melbourne. This role will work as part of a team supporting processes within a large, complex, high volume payroll function within the APAC region.

This role is a great opportunity for a Superannuation professional who is a true collaborator with a continuous improvement mindset. Our Payroll Advisory roles are fast paced, challenging, and supported by our processing teams. Reporting to the Service Delivery Operational Lead, Global Payroll Advisory , you will:

  • Build Superannuation technical and process knowledge in our payroll services teams

  • Drive and monitor compliance with company policies, internal control standards and regulatory requirements

  • Interpret legislation, policy and procedures to resolve complex queries from HR, employee and business partners

  • Partner with our company Superannuation fund to implement change and improvements to the way we work together

  • Identify, lead, and assist with the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities within our payroll processes

  • Stay updated with changes to Superannuation legislation and implement necessary adjustments to processes and procedures

  • Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with current Superannuation legislation

  • Work closely with our Company Superannuation Relationship Manager to ensure preparation for Payday Super in 2026

  • Prepare Payroll Advisory and our Service Delivery team for End of Financial Year

What you’ll bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

  • Extensive experience in and an understanding of Superannuation Legislation

  • Experience working as an Administrator in a Superannuation Fund or in a Clearing House is highly desirable but not essential

  • Knowledge of SAP or similar system within a payroll environment of at least 1000+ employees an advantage

  • Proven ability to apply critical thinking to resolve complex problems

  • Resilience and the ability to thrive in a continuous improvement culture and have a strong commitment to team-based processes and outcomes

  • Capacity and versatility to operate in a large and dynamic organisation which involves delivering business objectives remotely and across a diverse workforce

  • Excellent interpersonal influencing, coaching, communication, negotiation and consultation skills along with managing your time to deliver priorities with a high attention to detail

  • Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Moderate experience with Excel, SharePoint and other Microsoft tools
