About the role
Rodney's Transport Service, a well-established road transport company, is seeking experienced MC/B Double Linehaul - General & Bulk Tipper Interstate Drivers to join our team in Sunshine West, Victoria. This full-time position offers the opportunity to be a key part of our growing operations, delivering essential goods across state lines.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operating MC/B Double vehicles to transport general and bulk tipper freight across interstate routes
- Adhering to all traffic regulations, load restraint and safety protocols
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintaining accurate trip logs and documentation
- Providing excellent customer service and timely delivery of goods
- Collaborating with the broader operations team to ensure efficient and reliable transport services
What we're looking for
- Current MC/HC driver's licence with a strong driving record
- Proven experience operating MC/B Double vehicles, preferably in interstate general and bulk tipper freight transport
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Commitment to maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards
