ABOUT THE ROLE
- Ongoing Full Time
- Based at Leongatha Depot
- Base salary $72,338 plus 11.5% superannuation
- Excellent working conditions
Are you an experienced, qualified and self-motivated Mechanic ready to take on your next challenge?
Be part of our supportive and high performing Workshop team who carry out maintenance and repairs on a range of Council's plant and equipment, including small engines, utilities, trucks and earth moving vehicles such as graders and excavators.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful you will:
- Have experience in mechanical work, particularly on diesel powered plant and equipment
- Be comfortable with diagnosing causes of faults and preventative maintenance needs
- Be able to plan the work through identifying and ordering parts and determining what labour will be required
- Ability to complete the repairs and maintenance required with minimal supervision
- Be safety orientated and able to identify and report any safety concerns
- Heavy Rigid Drivers Licence.
