What you will do
As an occupational therapist at Western Plains, you will be part of a small, multidisciplinary team serving the people in our care with disabilities and complex needs.
You will focus on improving daily living skills , emotional regulation and social engagement .
You will:
- Assess and develop individualised occupational therapy plans to enhance functional skills and independence.
- Collaborate with other professionals to deliver coordinated care and intervention.
- Help create a therapeutic environment that encourages participation and skill development.
- Assist people in our care in preparing for transition by building daily living and coping skills.
- Contribute to service improvements and best practices in disability and rehabilitation care.
