Yarra Ranges Council offers a Strategic Executive Advisor role that supports our CEO and Executive Team in driving key priorities, policy initiatives, and strategic decision-making for the benefit of our community.What you’ll bring to our team The Executive Strategic Adviser collaborates with all members of the Office of the Chief Executive and Executive Team to provide support, and high-quality leadership, insight and guidance on strategic and complex matters. This position will actively enhance the effectiveness and delivery of Council priority areas and the business objectives of Yarra Ranges Council. These priority areas are a mix of future focussed strategic initiatives that seek to deliver on the objectives in the Council Plan and other strategic frameworks and outcomes, as well as internal organisational enhancement opportunities that support an effective and efficient organisation.
The Executive Strategic Advisor position functions as an expert guide providing leadership and support to the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Leadership Team and team members from across the organisation recommending strategies, assisting with decision-making, and refining accepted practices to ensure maximum effectiveness and results for council.
