About The Role
Join Our Dedicated Team at MacKillop Family Services – Make a Difference in the Lives of Young People!
At MacKillop, our Out of Home Care (OOHC) programs are designed to provide compassionate, supportive, and transformative care to young people facing high and complex needs.
As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our Residential Services. You’ll provide personalized care and emotional support to children and young people referred through the Child Protection system, guiding them on their journey towards healing, growth, and empowerment.
We are looking for a permanent part-time (52 hour per week) Residential Care Worker in Bendigo.

Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care or other similar or relevant tertiary qualifications.A genuine interest in young people and their wellbeing.Demonstrate empathy for young people in our care in an open-minded and nonjudgmental manner.Highly developed capacity for emotional self-regulation, including the capacity to set and maintain consistent boundaries to provide safety, stability and consistency.
