Role is for a yard person/delivery driver with proven experience in the industry. Our success has been attributed to our strong values and great team environment. About the role
- Yard presentation, ensuring all machinery and equipment is clean and presentable for customers.
- Assisting customers with hooking/unhooking of equipment.
- General upkeep of all machinery and equipment.
- Delivery of small and heavy equipment to sites.
- Inspection of equipment before and after hire.
- Provide assistance to workshop and hire desk as required.
- Completing any additional duties as instructed.
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
- Work unsupervised and safely when needed.
- The proven ability to implement and maintain a safety first culture and responsible operation of all company equipment.
- Strong leadership and professional manner.
- Equipment hire or similar industry experience (an advantage)
Skills and experience
- Current and valid manual drivers licence.
- Forklift licence (essential).
- Medium/Heavy ridged truck licence (essential or willing to obtain).
- Be available to work after hours and on Saturdays.
- Good knowledge of rules and regulations.
- Safe driving, loading and unloading skills.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Good knowledge of plant and equipment.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Willing to learn new skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
