About Us
A small quality producer, Quealy Winemakers have the widest range of single site expressions of Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris.
Quealy’s home estate in Balnarring is a certified organic vineyard with some of the earliest plantings of pinot noir in the region, alongside pinot grigio and small plots of rare Italian varietals. Kathleen Quealy and Kevin McCarthy have spent decades establishing the finest vineyards on the Mornington Peninsula, four of which they still independently manage today.
The wine leadership is now with their eldest son, Tom McCarthy, who upholds Quealy’s innovative vision for organic viticulture and applies it across all their vineyards.
The Cellar Door is located within the winery, alongside the vineyard and under the ancient manna gum. Customers can step into the winemaker’s world of terracotta amphoras, tanks, barrels and witness the people and processes working to finesse their wine.
If you are interested in being a part of a vibrant and dynamic workplace focused on quality and warm hospitality, please do get in touch.
