About the role
Overend Constructions' is seeking an experienced Joiner/Cabinet Maker to join our team in Healesville, Victoria. This is a full-time position responsible for the manufacture and installation of high-quality custom joinery and cabinetry for residential and commercial projects.
What you'll be doing
- Interpreting design drawings and specifications to create detailed production plans
- Operating woodworking machinery and tools to fabricate joinery and cabinet components
- Assembling and installing custom joinery, including bespoke kitchens, vanities, built-in furniture and more
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes and industry standards
- Collaborating with project managers, designers and site teams to deliver exceptional outcomes
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace to support efficient and safe operations
What we're looking for
- Formal qualification in Carpentry, Joinery or Cabinet Making
- Minimum 3-5 years' hands-on experience in a similar role
- Strong working knowledge of woodworking machinery, power tools and construction methods
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical plans and specifications
- A keen eye for craftsmanship and the ability to deliver high-quality, bespoke joinery
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
