A Medical Eye Clinic in the outer Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne is seeking an Orthoptist/Science/University Graduate for permanent part-time work (3 to 4 days per week or more for the right candidate). We are a growing Ophthalmology Clinic focused on delivering high-quality patient care. Our goal is to provide patients with access to world-class specialist care, including the latest technology and treatments.
The Orthoptist/Technician will undertake:
- Patient's ophthalmic and medical history/Orthoptic assessment
- Clinical assessment of patients and perform investigations such as visual field testing, OCT, Biometry and Corneal Topography
- Primary assessment and triage of referrals
- Ability to work well with technology and various instruments
- Instrument sterilization
- IOL selection
You will have:

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to following instructions and willingness to learn new skills
