Cams Cords is a family-owned business with a thriving e-commerce store and retail outlet , as Australia largest Paracord supplier we specialise in crafting, ropes and outdoor adventures, . We take pride in our quality products, efficient systems, and exceptional customer service .

With our business growing, we are looking for a highly organised and experienced Assistant Operations Manager to manage stock, assist with admin, serve customers in-store, and provide backup support when the manager is away .

What You’ll Do

Stock Management & Inventory Control – Maintain accurate stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and ensure efficient stock organisation. (Essential)
Administrative Support – Assist with order processing, data entry, and general office admin to keep things running smoothly.
Pick & Pack – Be part of the picking and packing process to ensure orders are accurate and dispatched efficiently.
Retail Customer Service – Serve customers in our retail store, providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance.
Backup to the Manager – Step in to support operations when the manager is away, ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Increased Hours When Covering for the Manager – The standard role is part-time, but hours will increase when covering for the manager during leave.

Who You Are

Experienced in stock control & inventory management (essential) – You understand stock systems, tracking, and keeping inventory in order.
Retail & customer service experience – You enjoy helping customers and providing a great in-store experience.
Organized & detail-focused – Accuracy is key, and you thrive in a well-structured system.
Reliable & proactive – You take initiative and can handle tasks independently.
Flexible & adaptable – Willing to increase hours temporarily when stepping in for the manager.
Team player – You work well with others and enjoy supporting a small, friendly team.

Work Schedule & Benefits

Days & Hours – 3-4 days per week (Monday to Friday), 9 am - 2 pm. (Hours will temporarily increase when covering for the manager.)
Location – Convenient Geelong location with free parking .
