Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, the position of Branch Manager at our Swan Hill Branch in Victoria is, without a doubt a very exciting opportunity for a dynamic Branch Leader looking for their next career move.
The primary purpose of the Branch Manager role is to be a Branch Leader. This role will see you lead a large team while being responsible for the operational functions of the branch and compliance with company values, processes, and procedures.
About the Branch Manager Role:
- Lead and manage a strong Branch team by example, championing individual development
- Implement, monitor, and assess strategies to grow the financial performance of the Branch
- Administration of the branch in areas such as transport, stock control, ordering, processing, and Invoice.
- Maintaining key relationships with Clients, both longstanding and potential future, as we continue to Grow Forward.
- The branch manager will demonstrate and instil in others leadership behaviours that are aligned with the company's values, vision, and mission.
- Be responsible for creating and leading a team that is focused on safety culture and managing the WHS requirements.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- The successful applicant will be self-motivated, with an entrepreneurial and ‘can do’ mindset.
- The ability to maintain and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- You have excellent communication and customer service skills, with sound business acumen and a strong understanding of financial budget, pricing, and stock controls.
- Your focus is on teamwork, communication, and mentoring staff
- Strong branch management and people management skills
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have a high level of computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office products (SharePoint, Microsoft Pronto/Dynamics are an advantage)
- Strong customer service / key account sales skills
- Drive compliance with company values, procedures, and process
Previous experience in the Horticultural industry will be highly regarded but not essential.
