Situated in Corio, we are actively looking for enthusiastic and values-driven individuals to fill qualified boiler-making positions within our growing VIC team.
We have an immediate start available and extend this opportunity to all qualified applicants, providing a genuine chance for overtime within full-time/permanent positions.
Successful candidates will possess the following:
We are looking for suitably qualified people who are self-motivated, work well in a team, and are highly focused on safety and quality.
- Boiler-making trade qualifications with min. 2 years of industrial experience.
- Effective communication and people skills.
- A collaborator with a positive and initiative-taking attitude.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Someone who owns responsibility for the results of their team.
- Ability to read drawings, reports, engineering documents, and standards.
- A focus on exceeding customer expectations.
- The flexibility to work a combination of days/nights/weekends and out-of-hours work.
Desirable licenses and tickets would include:
- A general construction induction card / white card (essential)
- Working at Heights ticket
- Elevating work platform (EWP) ticket
- Heavy Rigid (HR) truck license.
- Dogman and Basic Rigger
- Crane
- First Aid
- Forklift
