About the role

We are currently looking for an experienced Scheduler to join our team at the Mornington Depot. In this role, you will be responsible for assigning the work program to our Planning team, ensuring strong support for maintenance and fault related tasks.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan and schedule work a few weeks in advance
  • Establish high-level maintenance plans and schedule rolling work for 6-8 weeks
  • Manage and adapt to schedule changes
  • Finalise work orders accurately and efficiently as well as communicating the job status to customers and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with planning and field teams to maximise crew efficiency
  • Allocate maintenance and fault work to Planners
  • Assist with fault response planning and reschedule incomplete tasks

About you:

  • Experience in resource scheduling and planning
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of the electrical industry (preferred but not essential)
