This exciting one of a kind role for an eCommerce Trade Strategist is working for Australia's largest retail brands.You will be responsible for delivering exceptional Trade results through the creation and implementation a customer first plan, built on campaign planning, day-to-day optimsation, turning insights into actions, & finding areas of opportunity across the the company websites.
What will you be doing?
- Lead and Inspire: Manage a team of eCommerce Specialists, taking ownership of key categories on business website. You'll drive sales growth and consistently exceed sales and profit targets.
- Mentor and Develop: Provide regular feedback and mentorship, creating meaningful development plans to help your team thrive and sharpen their eCommerce skills.
- Strategize and Execute: Drive and implement our Trade & Campaign calendar with a customer-first approach. You'll ensure seamless go-live and post-launch activities to achieve category sales and profit goals.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Content, Marketing, Digital Marketing, and CRM teams to align strategies and maximize campaign impact.
- Ensure Excellence: Oversee post-launch staging and production testing, guaranteeing content accuracy, effective merchandising, flawless links, and impactful promotions.
- Be the Expert: Dive deep into your online product categories using competitor research, customer insights, and on-site behaviour analysis to stay ahead of trends.
- Set Priorities: Establish trade priorities for your categories, guiding the Content Team in planning and coordinating engaging website content.
- Drive Decisions with Data: Recommend and implement changes based on thorough data analysis and trade requirements.
- Optimize Processes: Create and manage processes to enhance speed to market, performance, and accuracy.
- eCommerce Expert: You bring solid experience in eCommerce, within the retail sector. Ideally within in fashion category.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong business acumen with excellent analytical and planning capabilities.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing direct reports and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Collaborative Nature: A natural collaborator with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive category growth, and communicate a clear strategic vision.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient with website analytics tools—Google Analytics preferred—and skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Effective Communicator: Experienced in presenting trade results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Relationship Builder: Ability to cultivate positive, productive relationships to influence decision-making.
