The Role:
Reporting to the Shift Manager, this role will be a full time working day shift with our busy production team in Reservoir.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Operating production machines and associated equipment for the manufacture of cardboard packaging
- Operate lasers, milling machines and rule benders.
- Use CAD software for design and precision die making.
- Maintain and repair both new and existing dies to meet high standards.
- Support and educate team members in the art of die making.
- Housekeeping duties and any other ad hoc tasks required as part of a site production team.
- Contribute to a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
What You Will Bring to the Team:
- Proven experience in die making in manufacturing, including rotary and flat dies.
- Familiarity with corrugated and folding carton knowledge
- Proficiency in CAD software and operating specialised machinery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An initiative-taking and collaborative mindset with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
