Job Description The Agile Business Analyst drives the implementation of technical business projects, collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to analyze, document, and refine processes. They facilitate requirement gathering and user story development using agile techniques to deliver customer-centric solutions.
So, what’s the job?
- You'll analyse problems to ensure the right solutions are being developed and break down complex issues into logical parts and processes.
- You'll identify practical constraints and design solutions accordingly along with balancing priorities, quality, and delivery to meet business needs.
- You'll ensure a shared understanding of project requirements and maintain a stable pipeline of work for the team.
- You'll identify and escalate risks and issues as needed and implement improvement opportunities.
- You'll gather and document requirements, acceptance criteria, and scope projects and facilitate project initiation workshops and develop agile requirements.
- You'll assist in defining acceptance criteria, ideally in BDD format.
- You’ll lead key agile ceremonies like sprint demos and retrospectives.
- You'll conduct system testing to ensure quality and contribute to creating prototypes for validation.
- You'll use customer insights to guide business initiatives and ensure best practices in customer initiatives.
- You'll handle confidential information per company protocols and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
And what are we looking for?
- You'll have demonstrated experience as an Agile Business Analyst in digital/web product development.
- You'll have solid experience capturing and documenting business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- You'll have experience delivering digital products and features (web & mobile) along with general understanding of reading code and coding principles.
- You'll understand how to develop Stories (Epics) from a Business Case or workshop and understanding in data synthesis and analysis to support decision-making.
- You'll have demonstrable knowledge of multiple agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, BDD, etc.) along with acceptance criteria development (ideally BDD format).
- You'll have experience in developing and maintaining Definition of Done and perform data or domain modeling at the solution level.
- You'll have experience managing traceability between agile artifacts in large projects and manage priorities effectively.
