The CompanyHighly reputable Australian Retail organisation who offer a wide range of products both in the wholesale and retail markets. They have a high performing team and are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to come in and partner with various divisions and take ownership of the business testing function.
The Role
Reporting to the IT Services Manager, this person will be the sole tester for the organisation. Previously outsourced, the business is looking to bring somone in-house to be responsible for all testing activities across the organisation. The automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and use cases are already created, they just need to be maintained and built upon.
The key areas will be in:
- Integration testing (SIT - API - Postman)
- Web testing (automation testing - Playwright)
- Constructing test data
- DevOps pipelines (AWS)
About you
You will have experience as a QA Engineer, ideally working in a smaller-sized company, on a small team. You will be a great team player, and be able to work with non-technical stakeholders, and you will have excellent communication skills, both verbal, and written.
There is a strong preference for Sydney-based candidates, however, Perth-based candidates would also be considered.
