About The Role:
- This rewarding opportunity will see you join the Mater Hospital in North Sydney as a Senior Dietician, in the capacity of our Lead Dietician. This is a 12-month maternity-leave cover role with opportunity for job share ongoing.
- This role will be full time, 38-40 hours per week - Monday-Friday.
- You will bring your passion to the role where you will work closely with the Allied Health Managers to ensure a safe, effective and efficient Dietetics service.
- You will hold a clinical caseload in conjunction with service development activities, supervising junior staff, orientating new staff and providing education sessions.

About You:
As an outstanding Senior Dietician and Lead Dietician, you are a master in rapport building, communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and leadership. Your skills will include:
- Minimal of 5 years hospital/private practice experience.
- Clinical management and leadership.
- Assistance in workforce planning and service development
- Staff supervision, coaching and mentoring
- High standard off professionalism and communication

About The Mater:
In this role you will be based at the Mater hospital, North Sydney.
- One of Sydney’s premier private hospitals.
- Close by to train stations at North Sydney, St Leonards, and Crows Nest, and buses on Pacific Highway.
- The only Australian hospital that is a member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres.
- Core specialties include Obstetrics, Orthopaedics including hip and knee joint replacements, bone and sports injuries, cardiology, cancer care and surgery, lung and vascular medicine, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, endocrine surgery, and neurosurgery.
