About the role
Come work in our busy production kitchen, a cook fresh facility producing 60,000+ meals each month. Be part of our dedicated team of 40 kitchen staff working together to produce high quality meals for patients.
- Contribute to a smooth and efficient kitchen operation within a fast-paced hospital setting
- Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, mixers, and slicers
- Support with receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies
About you
- At least 2 years’ experience in food production in a commercial kitchen
- Skilled in chopping ingredients, following recipes, and preparing high-volume meals
- Sound knowledge of health and safety practices in a commercial kitchen environment
- A team player experienced in working in fast-paced environments
- Must be able to commit to 32 hours a week (students visas not applicable)
