Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage APIs using the Apigee platform, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API requirements and integration workflows.
- Develop and maintain API documentation, providing clear guidelines for developers and stakeholders.
- Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and features in API management and integration technologies.
- Provide training and support to development teams on best practices for API design and integration.
- Enhance existing APIs based on consumer feedback and evolving business requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Apigee Integration Consultant or in a similar role focusing on API management and integration.
- Strong understanding of API design principles, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Apigee Edge, Google Cloud Platform, and related technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications in Apigee or API management are a plus.
