The role
Based at Newcastle Service Centre, this is a hands-on role where you will be working as a part of a supportive and a progressive team within a positive working environment and will be responsible for:
- Assembling, servicing and maintaining geared motors and industrial gear boxes.
- Preparing products for despatch.
- Ensuring the work environment is kept clean and safety is upheld at all times.
- Maintaining a high standard of work.
About you
- Relevant trade qualifications.
- Relevant technical knowledge pertaining to the Mechanical Engineering Industry.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player as well as independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- A positive attitude to safety.
- Forklift ticket would be an advantage.
- Machining experience would be an advantage.
