About the role
This exciting role gives you the power to create families' dreams, and be part of building future communities.
You will be designing and detailing wall frames, flooring systems, and trusses for residential and commercial dwellings Australia-wide, which you will then see manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility.
Additional responsibilities include liaising with customers, engineers, and site supervisors to discuss job specifics.
About you
To become part of the Hitek Design Team, you will have:
- Solid experience as a frame and truss detailer
- Thorough knowledge of the general construction processes and principles including roof truss and wall frame construction
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and take pride in your work
- High-level problem-solving skills, and eagerness to understand how things work
- Excellent computer skills (including CAD-based skills)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A strong commitment to learning a new software package
- The ability to work alone and with others to meet deadlines
