What’s the role about?
You’ll be the face of our brand, leading the charge in maximizing sales, developing key relationships, and ensuring that every customer has an outstanding experience. You’ll tap into new business opportunities, negotiate deals, and work with both suppliers and customers to make sure we’re always exceeding expectations!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Relationship Building: Forge strong, lasting connections with both suppliers and customers to maximize the potential of our network and product offerings.
- Sales Power: Capitalize on existing sales channels and source new business opportunities to bring fresh customers on board and expand our market reach.
- Customer Service Extraordinaire: Handle customer queries and complaints with urgency, turning any situation into a win-win for everyone. Customer satisfaction = success!
- Negotiation Guru: Use your sharp negotiation skills to quote prices and seal deals that benefit everyone—without compromising on price integrity.
- Market Insight: Keep an eye on the competition and provide recommendations for strategies to stay ahead of the game. It’s all about being one step ahead!
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with site teams to ensure our product displays are top-notch and collaborate with suppliers on promotions, demos, and clearances to boost sales.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proven ability to negotiate and close deals.
- Strong sales skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Intermediate planning and organizational skills.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- A deep understanding of customer needs and supplier offerings.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous trade experience in the industry.
- Tertiary education in Sales (or similar) is a bonus!
- A Trade relevant qualification (we love people who know their stuff!).
- Ability to work a 7-day trading roster (including nights and weekends when needed).
- A passion for building relationships and delivering exceptional service.
