About This Role
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Maintenance Fitter), you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our 26 Scania A-doubles are well-maintained and safe on the road. We offer the flexibility of a 3-panel roster, the ideal candidate will either reside in the Gunnedah Region or be open to relocating to the area.
What You'll Do
Perform all required repairs and maintenance on our Scania A-doubles Work autonomously to meet production targets and deadlines Showcase a commitment to safety with visible safe work practices and adherence to JSA protocols Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to complete work orders effectively
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience as a heavy diesel mechanic, with expertise in maintaining heavy vehicles and trailers Experience with Scania trucks (a bonus, but not essential!) Relevant trade qualifications and hands-on industry experience. A proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork. A Current Drivers License
