Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.
CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT (Permanent)
The purpose of the Corporate Accountant position is to assist the Director - Business, Cultural & Financial Services and the Finance Manager through the effective management of Council’s financial reporting and ledger controls system.
Qualifications: The successful applicant will require a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.

Skills & Knowledge : The successful applicant will require an understanding of Operational Plans and Delivery Programs (including annual budget, financial plan and revenue policy), be able to provide financial analysis of actual v budget performance, and a comprehensive understanding of costing ledgers including maintenance and reconciliations.
Hours of work: 35 hours per week.
Salary and conditions: Annual salary range from $94,437.20 to $103,885.60 (Grade 16), plus Superannuation.
