About Your Role
The Griffith Base Hospital (GrBH) Chief Pharmacist will provide leadership to the overall operations of the Griffith Health Service pharmacy department, including ensuring the department is staffed appropriately within available resources and functioning effectively.
The GrBH Chief pharmacist will provide supervision of outreach clinical pharmacists and medication management at Leeton, Hillston and Lake Cargelligo hospitals in accordance with MLHD Pharmacy Services policies, guidelines, strategic plans and direction of the MLHD Chief Pharmacist.
The GrBH Chief Pharmacist will provide effective, efficient and quality pharmaceutical services which meet the legal and professional requirements and the relevant guidelines and standards, as well as the planning coordination, provision, monitoring and evaluation of pharmaceutical services within the hospital.
Management responsibilities account for approximately 50% of this position with the other 50% being spent in the clinical service.
