What we are looking for:
As Mackay's newest Catholic College expands into its fifth year, the following positions are available for application from skilled and enthusiastic educators to commence January 2026 . We are seeking teachers willing and able to teach at all levels of secondary schooling with particular emphasis on experience in the senior years would be an advantage.
Applications are invited from qualified and enthusiastic educators to join the teaching staff of Catherine McAuley College. These are both part-time and full-time continuing positions, as negotiated with the successful applicant.
Exciting opportunities exist for qualified and enthusiastic educators for a combination of the following subject areas in Junior and Senior Secondary Education:
- Maths
- Science
- Digital Technologies
- Design Technologies
- English
- Humanities
- Languages (Spanish)
- Religious Education
- Food Technology

Catherine McAuley College opened its doors in 2022, in order to meet the growing demand for a quality, Catholic Education in the Mackay region. Starting with pioneering Year 7’s in 2022, they will grow into a complete Years 7 to 12 profile by 2027.

Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
- Australian work rights
